TURKEY RUN STATE PARK
From the suspension bridge, to kayaking on the creek, to just walking the trails, the environment Is gorgeous all seasons.
WHEEL HOUSE DONUTS
Look no further for classic donut pics. This cute shop is family owned by Craig & Val, from Canada. The cake donuts are fresh, delicious and topped with whatever your heart desires. The store is rustic chic with bright blue accents.
ROCKVILLE SQUARE & COURTHOUSE
The Rockville square is comprised of historic colorful buildings. The square also has an intricate staircase, the perfect place to sit down and let out some photogenic “fake laughs”.
BILLIE CREEK VILLAGE
This slightly eerie ghost town is swamped with cute mini sized buildings.
I mean how cute is pickin’ fruit on a summer day?
OLD JAIL INN
A cool local inn that was once the Parke County Jail. This historic building is filled with neat memorabilia and even a basement winery (Drunk Tank Winery).
SHADES STATE PARK
The twin sister to Turkey Run State Park. I can't speak about it toooo much, because I've never been. (gasp, I know) Anyway, I've heard great things and can't wait to go!
Parke County wouldn't be what it is today without its' covered bridges! Being "The Covered Bridge Capital of the World", these had to be included on my list.
